About this Role

Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust is offering an exciting opportunity to become a Trust Associate Principal. This is a new post designed to support the Executive Principal for our secondary schools and the Director of School Improvement to drive up standards. The successful applicant will be prepared to provide interim leadership in our academies where necessary. The post may involve deployment at academies to cover any areas of responsibility to drive up standards. The successful applicant will work directly for the Executive Principal in our secondary academies. We are looking to support and give leadership experience to someone who is looking for a headship/Principal post in the near future.

Key responsibilities include:

•  Providing strong, strategic leadership in line with the Trust’s vision and values either as an interim Principal or as part of senior team
• Working collaboratively with senior leaders to drive improvements in teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum design in our secondary academies
• Supporting and developing staff through coaching, CPD, and performance management
• Managing day-to-day operations in an academy in the absence of a Principal and ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Working in partnership with stakeholders and the wider community to raise outcomes for all students

We are looking for someone who:

• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organisational skills
• Is committed to collaboration, equity, and community engagement
• Has a flexible, can-do attitude and is prepared to support where needed
• Is experienced across many areas of leadership in secondary schools
