Last week Academicis attended the annual FEDS National Education Summit at Liverpools John Moores University.
The FED National Education Summit is a four-day event which brings together the widest range of influential contributors. It is a chance for them to connect, reflect and address issues surrounding the education for the next decade.
The Foundation for Education Development (FED) has shown that the country needs a long term plan for education. Research has revealed that short term approaches to solving education issues only add stress and confusion. Long term solutions are needed to address deep-seated problems and ensure all learners flourish.
This approach goes hand in hand with our eagerness to ensure that
we help schools and trusts appoint the best senior leaders, not only in recruiting the very best but also by mentoring and training them to be the very best.
Our very own Sir Michael Wilshaw, alongside our CEO, Richard Lucas and New Business Client Director, Fiona Walker attended the summit where Sir Michael, Lord Jim Knight, Meena Wood and Liz Robinson were part of a group where delegates could share their views on if Oftsed requires improvement.
The Summit was a huge success, not only for ourselves but for all the voices within Education Sector.
