Riverston is an outstanding privately owned independent, co-educational day school specialising in providing a bespoke provision for c.150 Yr 7 – Yr 14+ students with a range of specific learning difficulties. Riverston is a rapidly expanding, forward looking school in south-east London where it has been located since 1926.

Following the imminent retirement of our current Director of SEN who has been in post for more than 10years, we are now looking to recruit an outstanding and well qualified SEN professional who will materially assist the school through an exciting period of growth and be responsible for implementing SEN strategies to enhance the schools continued development.

The successful applicant will have a vision for building and growing Riverston as a genuine centre of SEN excellence and take full advantage of the success the school currently enjoys. The candidate will be an inspirational and authentic leader able to articulate an innovative and successful SEN model that is relevant to all stakeholders, including extending the already excellent relationship Riverston enjoys with a number of referring local authorities.
